The Norwegian Sightings Report Chronology was graciously donated to MUFON by The Archives for the Unexplained (AFU) in Sweden. Working with MUFON, Clas Svahn, one of AFU’s Board members, supplied us with 247 pages of Norwegian Reports between 2001 and 2023. Many of these reports contain photos or drawings. This astonishing collection was in the Norwegian Language and subsequently translated by MUFON’s IT Staff into English.
Currently the English version does not contain the illustrations. Machine Learning was utilized in the text translation and illustrations for the English translated report chronology will be available at a later date. The Norwegian version has the illustrations.
This database of Norwegian cases has never been available to English speaking populations in America and around the world until now.
MUFON is deeply indebted to AFU for this generous groundbreaking chronology as it is now available to the world at large in two languages!
